An evening to remember for foodies: Benefit dinner boasts celebrity chefs, local wines and a stellar venue

"Peter Armellino isn't the type to play it safe. So it's little wonder that when asked to cook the final course at a benefit dinner dubbed "An Evening to Remember," the Michelin-starred chef pushed himself to actually give diners just that. Chef-owner of the Plumed Horse in Saratoga, Armellino joins three other high-profile, California chefs at The Beach and Tennis Club at Pebble Beach on Sept. 11. The champagne reception and dinner is a benefit for the American Institute of Wine and Food and the Monterey chapter of the American Red Cross."
