Mike Smith Myriad Wines Dinner on Tuesday August 12th 7pm

The Plumed Horse is delighted to announce our next winemaker dinner, featuring wines made by Mike Smith. Mike is a rising star amongst Napa Valley winemakers, making wine for several of Napa Valley's most prestigious wineries. Recently recognized by both the Wine Spectator and Robert Parker, his personal labels - Myriad Cellars, Quivet Cellars are some of Napa Valley's most sought after wines. Mike's Sonoma label Ancillary Cellars has also received rave reviews.

After working as an assistant winemaker and then as a consultant, Mike started his own brands in 2006. Today, Mike consults on approximately 12 wine projects in the Napa Valley. Mike's "purist" approach to winemaking is very evident in his work; he strives to create the most natural and expressive wines California can offer.

The winemaker dinner will be held on Tuesday August 12 at 7pm. The evening will include wines from Myriad Cellars, Quivet Cellars, and Ancillary Cellars, all made by Mike. The wines will be be paired with Chef Peter's cuisine.
