Melka Winemaker Dinner on Thursday March 8 at 7PM

In its series of winemaker dinners, the Plumed Horse is delighted to host Cherie Melka of Melka Wines on Thursday March 8 at 7PM.

After earning her degree in Microbiology from Northern Arizona University, Cherie worked at some top wineries including Ridge and Silver Oak. Cherie also spent time in France with her husband, Philippe. While in France, she earned a certificate from the University of Bordeaux III.

Cherie and Philippe started Melka Wines in 1996. Their vision is to create a line of Métisse wines that continue to demonstrate uniqueness of site and varietal. Cherie now focuses all her attention and energies on Melka wines.

The evening will begin with hors d'oeuvres & one of Cherie's favorite Sparkling wines followed by a menu created by Chef Peter Armellino that pairs with the Melka Wines
